Statement of Significance

An unusual reading of Inter-War Califonian Bungalow element applied to a symmetrical house in a street with a high concentration of Federation period dwellings.

Physical Description

Broad fronted residence with paired half hipped roofs about a central ridgeline parallel to the street above a central portico entrance. Brickwork construction with a rendered finish. Corrugated iron roof and awnings. Portico features a low wall with simple obelisk like columns supporting the verandah beam. Apparently symmetrical facade features. Built in the Inter-War California Bungalow style, this residence sits along the same street as many other houses constructed in the same period.
