Remains of Historical interest due to the close association with the Kobeelya Girls School.
Modifications made prior to purchase i.e. walls removed and doors filled in etc. Plans of these modifications are available. Modifications made include the kitchen being refurbished and the verandah enclosed.
The residence was owned by Mrs Bean, who in 1951 offered it for sale to Kobeelya, thus alleviating the pressure of boarding accommodation. It became known as "St Christopher's" under the care of Miss Niven. With the appointment of Mr Blom in 1966 as Principal, the building was renovated to become the Headmaster's residence. It remained the principal's residence until the closure of Kobeelya and was then sold as a private residence.
Good - Exterior Painting and verandah repairs required.
