One of a number of turn of the century weatherboards in this street. It has an unusual bay window. This s
is also seen in the 'carpenter gothic' detailing in the house of Facius in Pearse Street.
A bow fronted Victorian cottage built with Edwardian profile weatherboards before 1901. Gable fronted
roof and bullnose verandah are in zincalume. The gables are filled with weatherboard set in a chevron
pattern. This may be a later renovation. The central chimney stack is corbelled painted brick,verandah
posts are chamfered square section timber. The front door has lights on either side and above.There are
remains of iron frieze, scalloped bargeboard. Triple windows with a small light in the top third. Front door
Victorian with side lights with a little Art Nouveau stained glass and a decorative architrave. Turned posts
to the small front verandah [central one missing while renovations are being undertaken.] A new picket
fence separates the cottage garden from the narrow street.
