The Little Three Springs has historic significance given its connection to the early settlement and movement of stock along the old coastal stock route between Perth and Champion Bay.
A fresh water spring.
Watering point for stock and travellers using the coastal stock route between Perth and the northern grazing lands. The original timber watering troughs were still evident and were photographed in 1983. (Source: 'The Old North Road' by W.J. De Burgh).
Water was also drawn from this source by the early coastal dwellers in the Leeman townsite.
