Statement of Significance

The place, for its building form and architectural characteristics, makes a positive contribution to an impressive streetscape, which is typical of Mount Lawley. This house is a representative example of the Federation Queen Anne Revival architectural style.

Physical Description

A Federation Queen Anne Revival house with major gabled bays framing a verandah and entry steps. The verandah is set on posts above a masonry balustrade. Render to the walls is a later intervention. Plaster decorative details are intact. It has limestone and rendered brick and a tiled roof.

History

A diluted example of the Federation Queen Anne Revival Style that contributes to the precinct.
