Significant as a surviving part and significant contributing element of the Bayley Street streetscape and precinct.
One of a modest pair of brick shops with stucco facades with balustraded parapets and piers and bolection mould edged panels. Vestiges of the ornamental timber verandah remain and the early shop fronts are nearly intact.
This shop with its contemporaneous neighbour represents an example of the main period of development in Coolgardie and remain in use for their intended purposes.
