The building is significant on the following grounds: HISTORIC:
1. It is important for close association with individuals settling the area at that time.
2. Built for William Cornwall, it is an important example of architecture designed by B.H. Dods, who also drew the plans for the Heritage listed "Mardoc" building in Narrogin.

Physical Description

Single storey residence of distinctive appearance featuring a
ballroom and detached kitchen at back.
There is also a two storey brick coach house in the yard.
