Physical Description

Originally a two-roomed cottage with central passage, kitchen behind, hipped roof, construction of concrete block, rendered at the front, patterned elsewhere including half height of verandahs and porch (glazed). There is a concrete block/corrugated iron store in the backyard. Near Mingenew Spring.

History

Was known as a site of a blacksmith with ample water from the Mingenew Spring. Old style house with concrete block walls. Re-roofed after 1979 cyclone. Owners have renovated.

Integrity: The original form of the house is recognisable
Modifications: Verandahs filled in with asbestos/cement rear additions, one wall of central passage removed.
