Duplex, , is a typical single storey xxx duplex dating from 19. The place has aesthetic value for its contribution to the streetscape and the surrounding area. It is representative of the typical building stock located within the residential areas of Fremantle. It is historically significant as a representation of typical workers' houses in the Fremantle area. The place is a late/simple example/variation of the xx style of architecture. The place has rarity value as being a group of three semi detached residences with a high degree of integrity and authenticity.

Physical Description

Duplex, 112A-114 Solomon Street is a single storey masonry and tile house constructed in the Federation Bungalow style of Architecture. The walls are rendered brick. The roof is hipped and gabled and clad with tiles, and has exposed rafters. There are some timber framed windows evident, however a high painted brick wall prevents further description of the front elevation.
