Statement of Significance

Unique shell decoration is deserving of retention and its presence is essential to maintain the scale and character of high street

Physical Description

A two storey brick and stone commercial building with distinctive fenestration and ornate shell patterns on the pediments. The building is one of the few that have the original shop windows including the stained glass. Iron lace verandah has been removed.
The building is two storeyed and constructed of brick and stone. The upper floor has rectangular and arched windows between stuccoed pilasters and a decorative cornice. Above the parapet are triangular and arched pediments that have a unique shell decoration.
