Site not visited. Site only of the Wongyarra School.
Originally known as the East Carnamah School, this school was opened on 4 September 1939. It was located 13 14 miles east of Carnamah in a 2 roomed cottage. The name of the school changed shortly after its opening, becoming known after the property on which it was located. The school closed at various times due to a lack of students, before finally closing in 1943. (Heydon, p80-81)
