The church is significant to the social and historic development of Boyup Brook and is of particular significance to the members of the Anglican congregation.
The building has been constructed of bush concrete with a corrugated iron roof. Although the building has been extended, the original section can still be identified. The landscape setting of the building is particularly attractive.
St Saviour's was the first church built in Boyup Brook. It was constructed largely through the fund raising efforts of Mrs J Inglis.
