House, 79 Tuckfield Street, is a single storey limestone and iron house dating from the 1890s. It is a fine example of the Federation Queen Anne style of architecture. The place has aesthetic value for its fine design and detailing as well as its contribution to the streetscape and the surrounding area. It is representative of the more affluent building stock located within the residential areas of Fremantle. It is historically significant as a representation of a fine residence in the Fremantle area.
