Statement of Significance

Part of the Olad Goldfields Road well system, but with a different construction style.

Physical Description

A rectagular well or tank 5 feet x 3 feet x 5 feet deep.

History

Built in July 1881 as one of a series of wells on the Yarragin Road, now the Goldfields Road by John Haywood.

Condition

Fair - it is fenced and the constructon is ok, but needs better maintenance to prevent weed encroachment.
