One of the earliest settlers to take up farming in the area, Mr Ted Pergande was a prominent member of the community and these remains of his home, sheds and sheepyards are significant, particularly the ingenuity shown in the construction of the sheepyards. All granite was carted from nearby rock.
Slabs of granite arranged into yards, also remains of sheds and house bearby built from stones.
