House, 75 Ellen Street has significance as a fine example of Victorian architecture. it represents the wealth and expansion of Fremantle in the last decade of the nineteenth century.
Two storey stone and zincalume hipped roof house and rendered bay to the façade which rises from the ground floor level to through the first floor and has a faceted gable roof. There is brick quoining to the window openings to the sides of the house, timber double hung sash windows are extant. The bull nosed verandah is supported by decorative timber posts metal frieze and timber balustrades.
This place was identified by the Fremantle Society in 1979/80 as being of cultural heritage significance. (Coded: Purple: "Of architectural and historic significance in its own right.”)
