Statement of Significance

This was built by a local identity, WH Sawyer and is representative of the town's early architecture. It housed the local telephone exchange until 1940 when Dalwallinu became connected to the continuous service lines.

Physical Description

A weatherboard and iron building in the main street of Dalwallinu. An email from the Shire CEO 28/08/21 notes that the place was demolished 'years ago' Demolition between 2015 - 2016
