House, 28 Bellevue Terrace is a good example of a stone residence in the Federation Queen Anne style, representing the expansion of Fremantle in the gold boom period of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The place contributes to a substantially intact late nineteenth and early twentieth century streetscape close to the centre of Fremantle.
House, 28 Bellevue Terrace is a single storey stone house with tuck pointed brick quoining to the corners and door and window openings. There is a painted corrugated iron hipped roof which has a gable with decorative timberwork above the faceted and separately roofed bay.
