Francis Weston was first of 11 children of Richard & Mary Weston, 8 of whom survived. Westons were first settlers (1882) of Pickering Brook. Orig. headstone made by Richard Weston (carpenter at Mason's Mill), evidence of isolation & hardship.
Sited alone in bush. Jarrah headstone surrounded by jarrah rail fence and the whole surrounded by post and rail fence. Headstone inscribed: "Francis Weston, Born Jan. 17 1876 Died Jan. 19 1876"
