Aesthetically significant as an example of Fremantle’s vernacular architecture. Typical single storey timber cottage dating from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Historically significant as a representation of working people’s living conditions in the Fremantle area.
Single storey timber framed and weatherboard clad walls with ashlar effect and a zincalume hipped roof and brick chimney with corbelling, house. There is a dropped verandah supported by timber posts and timber balustrades. The following places form a significant group and contribute to the streetscape of Watkins Street; 84, 86, 88 & 90.
