The place is a good example of a brick residence in the Federation Bungalow style, representing the expansion of Fremantle in the Post World War I period. The place contributes to a substantially intact late nineteenth and early twentieth century streetscape close to the centre of Fremantle.
Single storey tuck pointed brick and zincalume hipped and small gabled roofed house set above the level of the pavement. The roof extends over the verandah and is supported by timber posts between brackets and balustrading. The timber casement windows are extant. This place contains a limestone feature.
Rate Book research was not conclusive in determining an accurate date of construction.
