The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Erected 1894 as first Government school - oldest public building still extant. 2. Converted to Court House 3. Used as offices of Agricultural Bank/R & I - Charles Mitchell as officer. 4. Base for Historical Society who created the town museum.
Noted by National Trust as an attractive stone building with brick quoins and corrugated galvanised iron roof

One of the earliest major local industries of significance to the whole region. 3. Currently run, in part, as a restaurant. 4. Operation of butter factory closely linked to railways - cans of cream from individual farms collected at rail sidings on each line.
The building consists of two distinct red brick buildings linked together under seperate corrugated iron roofs and simple agricultral buildings.

The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Built 1911 by TH Brown, designed in Dutch Colonial style by BH Dods. 2. Upper floors first used as Mrs Le Lievre's Coffee Palace; later became Temperance Hotel, then Mardoc Guest House. 3. Ground floor has always housed a wide variety of retail outlets, including Edwin Howell the chemist, a highly revered man. 4. The uniquely attractive and commanding presence of the building in Narrogin's main street makes it an impressive and complementary feature with the Town Hall. It is very visible to visitors approaching town from the north and east.

The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Designed by GG Lavater, built by Hugh Marsh, officially opened 1908. 2. Major venue for social occasions - local amateur and visiting professional theatre, dances, public meetings, etc. Many VIPs given civic welcomes there. 3. Public library, later art gallery in interior room at various periods. 4: In early years, Municipal Council used front rooms. 5. The building has featured on the Municipal Council logo for many years and symbolises the past and present significance of the town.

The former camp house migrants working for Main Roads in Narrogin following World War II. It demonstrates the global efforts of the United Nations (UN) and the International Refugee Organisation (IRO) to resettle displaced persons, refugees and former military personnel forces throughout Europe and other parts of the world following World War II.
The former migrant camp comprises three prefabricated, transportable corrugated iron Nissen Huts (c.1948/49) set in an operational Main Roads industrial and manufacturing facility.
Theformer camp was established in 1948/49 to house migrants working for Main Roads in Narrogin after World War II. It was part of the Australian Government's post-war policy to increase population in order to reduce the country's vulnerability against attack , increase defences, and to rebuild and improve its economy by focusing upon production and State-built infrastructure.

Heavy traffic in small goods carried by rail for many years including perishable products. 4. The "Refresh" was very famous both for train passengers and local people. 5. During World War I many troop trains met by volunteers with refreshments. 6. Many visiting dignitaries welcomed and farewelled on the platforms. 7. Departure point for railway picnics.

The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Park first used for police horses. 2. Memorial dedicated 1923 to dead of World War I, stone unveiled in 1922 by local war hero ACN Olden. 3. Dead of World War II added in 1953. 4. Over the years the park has been a major source of passive recreation. 5. Venue for entertainment (band concerts), major gatherings (eg Anzac Services), and other social gatherings (eg. striking teachers in 1990s, religious groups, etc.)
An informally landscaped memorial park comprising lawn, trees, garden beds, drinking fountain, barbeque, bench seats with commemortaive plaques, remnant wartime relics or trophies, and the Inter-war Free Classical style painted Donnybrook stone Memorial Pavilion. Originally constructed in commemoration to those who served in World War One, additional plaques have been added for other conflicts.
