Statement of Significance
The place's significance is reinforced by the excellent condition and prominent location. It is one of few examples of its type of Federation Free style architecture in the State.
Physical Description
A group of red brick buildings comprising the former Midland Junction State School, former Teachers Quarters and the former Infants School. The buildings feature steeply corrugated iron roofs, high chimneys and timber framed windows.
History
Constructed in response to the influx of workers to Midland at the turn of the 20th century, the buildings are an important part of Midland's history.
