Statement of Significance

It is important for its historical and social relevance as well as architectural interest

Physical Description

The building is a handsome stone structure originally the Grammar school (later named Girton College) but is now used as a church. The verandah which forms two sids of an entry court still has the original cast iron lace on it. The south walls still bears the "coat of arms" and the date 1885. An interesting architectural feature is the open timber collar-beam roof.
