Significant water area in building a tank suitable for economic conservation of natural supply of water to the community or stock.
This tank is situated at Egg Rock Reserve 19361 at the base of a granite outcrop of 27.61ha. Approximately 1km from Booderockin Road, in a bush setting. The tank is a circular concrete tank with a corrugated iron roof.
The tank was completed in October 1928 at the cost of $3,800. The capacity of the tank is 432-958m3. Egg Rock had a small community in the 1930's.
