Statement of Significance
One of the few business premises still surviving and in use in the once built-up Bayley st precinct. Architecturally significant as a building type and for the use of local material and general design and size of the building.
Physical Description
A large two storied store built in stone with two storied verandah over the pavement plus a similar single storied business premises adjacent. Originally built as a providoring store and still functioning for that purpose. Parapet details are missing and signwriting is overstated for a buliding of this importance.
